My OA story

Here you can read stories told by people living with osteoarthritis. Feel free to write to us if you would like to share your experiences of how it is living with osteoarthritis.

If you have osteoarthritis, The Arthritis Portal would love to hear your story and share it with our readers!

It doesn’t matter how old you are or for how long you have had osteoarthritis. We welcome all kinds of stories, whether it's a story about what treatment methods you have tried, how you manage everyday life, or if you have experienced something whilst having the disease that you would like to share with others. Maybe you have a story about how exercise or surgery changed your life, or how you have lived with osteoarthritis since you were young. Every story is interesting and can be relatable to other readers living with the same joint disease.

Unfortunately, we aren't able to publish all stories on our website. Instead, we will carefully select a mix of stories to share publicly.

Feel free to attach a picture of yourself or something else that you think fits your story. If your story is published, the image you attached may also be published. No compensation will be offered for submitted or published contributions.

Email us with your story at kontakt [at] artrosportalen [dot] se (kontakt[at]artrosportalen[dot]se)

Thank you for your participation. We look forward to hearing from you.
